Our little hatchery didn’t start with a grand plan — it started with a dream of fresh eggs, a handful of chicks, and… well… a whole lot of learning the hard way. We failed more times than we’d like to admit, but every fluffy setback taught us something important. And eventually, those lessons grew into something beautiful.

What began as a simple way to feed our family became something much deeper. For generations, anemia has been a quiet battle in our home — something I’ve lived with my whole life, and now my oldest daughter and son face too. That’s why we added quail and guinea to our flock. Their nutrient‑rich eggs became part of our family’s wellness, and suddenly this wasn’t just about eggs anymore. It was about health, resilience, and taking care of the people we love.

As our flock grew, so did our passion. We realized we weren’t just raising birds — we were building a small family hatchery rooted in sustainability, tradition, and the belief that quality matters. We wanted to help other families, homesteaders, and hobbyists find healthy, well‑raised birds they could trust. So we opened our doors and our incubators, and our little adventure officially became a hatchery.

Today, we raise a colorful and quirky mix of breeds: Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Black Copper Marans, Cream Legbars, Buff Orpingtons, Swedish Flowers, Isbars, Bielefelders, Silkies, and the backyard mix that started it all. Add in our Coturnix quail, button quail, guinea fowl, Muscovy ducks, and Welsh Harlequin ducks, and you’ve got a flock with more personality than a barnyard soap opera.

We’re still a small family operation — the kind where kids help collect eggs, everyone has a favorite chicken, and laughter is just as common as feathers on the porch. We believe in raising birds the right way: with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart.
